The near-perfect symmetry of Manhattan can really only be appreciated from the air. Soaring above New York City in an open-door helicopter is a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience for all those interested in aerial photography, including amateur photographers or pros looking to add aerials to their portfolio. No prior experience is required.
Helicopters lift off from Westchester Airport in White Plains, NY and reach New York City airspace in just a few minutes. The flight path includes major landmarks such as Midtown, Central Park, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and many others on the way. Fliers wear seatbelts for safety. Camera straps are a must. Legs and feet must be kept inside the aircraft at all times.
Maximum weight 250 lbs per person and 500 lbs per helicopter.

Experience cannot be resold. Unless agreed in writing from FAN+.
Travel and accommodation are not included, unless specified in the experience description.
This experience can be utilised for any other capital city in Australia, but all travel costs (flights, accommodation, meals, transport) are to be paid by the purchaser of this experience in addition to the experience fee.
An identification check may be required prior to or on the day of the experience. Please ensure you are able to provide valid photo identification.
Experience to be scheduled at a mutually agreed date based on the experience rights holders availability within 12-months from the date of purchase. Blackout dates may apply.
In the event of an unforeseen circumstance, the experience holder cannot fulfil the experience a full credit will be offered back to the purchaser.
Fan + expects all purchasers and their guests to conduct themselves appropriately when attending the experience. If the experience holder believes that you and/or your guests are not conducting yourselves appropriately, the experience holder is entitled to end the experience.
Online bookings are subject to real time availability and not automatically confirmed. Efforts will be made to accommodate requests or we will offer an alternative or refund.

Photo flights depart from Westchester County Airport in White Plains, a relaxed crowd-free location just outside NYC easily accessed by public transit (Metro-North rail from Grand Central Terminal) or car (free parking).
Convenient roundtrip transfers are available from anywhere in Manhattan for additional fee (if option selected).
Photo flights go directly over Manhattan (except restricted areas). Routes are subject to change based on weather, air traffic control and temporary flight restrictions.
2-3 passengers fly in Robinson R44 helicopter, 4-5 passengers fly in AStar helicopter.
Maximum weight 250 lbs (113 kg) per passenger, also subject to combined weight limits per helicopter (500 lbs or 226 kg in R44 helicopter, 1000 lbs or 453 kg in AStar helicopter).
Maximum passenger height in R44 helicopter is 6 ft 3 in (192 cm).
Flights should be booked for the first days of your New York visit, in case of schedule changes due to bad weather or helicopter maintenance.
Photo flights are flown with open doors unless otherwise requested. Door removal is at the sole discretion of Pilot In Command. Doors are not removed if it's less than 30 degrees Fahrenheit (-1 Celsius) outside.
Passengers must wear 'quick release' seatbelts during the entire flight.
Cameras and smartphones must be secured with neck straps or wrist straps. Smartphone holders are provided by local partner upon request for additional fee.
Bags and any loose items must be stowed or left behind for the entire duration of the flight.
The use of poles or selfie sticks that could protrude from the aircraft is prohibited.
Legs and feet must be kept inside the helicopter at all times. Anyone violating this important safety policy is subject to the immediate termination of their flight with no refund and a penalty of $250 USD.
Children 18 years and under must be accompanied by an adult or have parental consent.
Recommended minimum age is 14 years.
